The Manav Vikas Sangrahalaya (Museum of Human Development) at GBPSSI aims at showcasing the cultural forms, livelihoods, and evolution of human development, particularly focusing on the marginalized and peasant communities of India.
Aims and Objectives
Unlike traditional museums that often focus on royal or elite histories, the Manav Vikas Sangrahalaya focuses on subaltern, peasant, and tribal histories. Its objective is to preserve the rich, indigenous knowledge systems and the material culture of rural and tribal India, thereby providing researchers and visitors a grounded view of human evolution in the Indian context.

- Agricultural implements and historical farming tools pointing to the agrarian evolution.
- Indigenous crafts, pottery, and textiles from the Awadh and Bundelkhand regions.
- Photographic archives documenting marginalized communities and traditional knowledge systems.
